The Lakes Distillery

I first spoke with Rachael and Tom in April this year. Yes you read that right, this year. Just 52 days before their wedding and yet there was absolutely zero stress. I love how laidback these two are. We chatted over Zoom about their plans for the day which sounded like my kinda vibe, to be honest they had me at distillery. Rachael didn't want any prep photos, initially they weren't going to have a photographer at all, but then realised they may come to regret it one day. I was with them for just a few hours capturing moments from their hand fasting ceremony and reception.

We all prayed for the rain to stay off, even though the forecast was heavy showers throughout the afternoon and let’s face it it’s the Lake District. We did go most of the day without it but of course the inevitable happened. Rachael and Tom were both absolute troopers and didn’t let the rain or blustery winds stop them enjoying every single second of their day.
